How does trading in cards work?

You send us your Yoto cards, we confirm they work, and then give you store credit based on their resale value. You can use that credit immediately to pick new cards from our shop — no listings, no fees, no waiting for buyers.

How much will I get for my cards?

Standard users receive around 60–65% of the resale value of each card. Swapto Plus members get 90% back, plus faster credit payouts and free inbound shipping once a month.

Do I need the original packaging?

No — we accept cards without the cardboard sleeves. As long as the card is authentic, not damaged and in good working condition, it qualifies for trade-in.

How do I send in my cards?

Once you submit a trade-in online, we’ll give you a prepaid shipping label (depending on the number of cards) or you can ship them your own way. Plus members get one free parcel per month, regardless of quantity. Just pack the cards securely and drop them at your nearest parcel shop.

Can I get cash instead of credit?

At the moment, we offer store credit only. This allows us to give you higher trade-in rates than if we offered cash, and keep the whole process simple.

What condition do the cards need to be in?

Cards must be in good working order (playable and authentic). Cosmetic wear is fine. Damaged, fakes, or non-functioning cards may be rejected.

What happens if you reject a card?

If a card can’t be accepted, we’ll let you know. You can choose to have it returned, or we can responsibly recycle it.

Can I cancel Plus at any time?

Yes — you can cancel whenever you like, and your benefits will continue until the end of the billing period.
